Will it suit your wiring?
A curtain switch is different from a light switch: it has three outputs (open, close, common), and your curtain motor must be an AC type running on 220 volts. It also needs a neutral wire inside the back box and a box at least 35 mm deep.

A curtain switch differs from a light switch: it has three outputs (open, close, common) and locks one direction before releasing the other to protect the curtain motor. The curtain motor must be an AC type running on 220V.
Do I need a neutral wire?
Yes, and it is the most important point. A smart switch needs permanent power to stay connected to the network, and that requires a neutral wire inside the back box. Newer buildings in Kuwait usually have one, while in older flats the neutral may run straight to the light fitting. If you see only two wires there probably is not one; three or more is a good sign.

What is the difference between Zigbee and Wi-Fi?
