Ceiling speakers give you distributed sound with no visible equipment in the room. The Lithe speakers in the store work over WiFi directly, so they need no separate amplifier and no audio cabling from an equipment room.
How many speakers do you need for a room?
For background listening in a hallway or bathroom, one speaker is enough. For living and reception rooms use two facing each other for balanced stereo. The practical rule: one speaker per 12 to 15 square metres.
Technical note: plasterboard depth
A ceiling speaker needs at least 10 cm of clearance behind the plasterboard, and must not touch an AC duct or a pipe. If the ceiling is already finished, position the cut-out away from the metal joists. In bathrooms and exposed areas use only the waterproof model, because humidity destroys the paper cone in standard speakers.
Installation
Installation of the speaker is included in the price inside Kuwait where there is a ceiling cut-out and power nearby. Cutting the plasterboard and running cable is quoted after a survey. Send us a photo of the ceiling and the room area on WhatsApp and we will send back a quote.
